I started Turning Together Psychotherapy to offer inclusive and effective psychotherapy for my trans community, the queer community at large, and anyone seeking to take care of this world by taking care of themselves. I see adults and adolescents for individual therapy.
Therapy with me is a process of becoming a good friend to yourself. This means coming to accept your life as it is now, and taking action towards what is most vital. This can be scary, and I will help you to hold the painful parts with safety and tenderness. Through kind attention towards the way things are, you can access more choice, find the right supports, and take effective action in your life. All this happens within a caring relationship where I will bring my full self to support you.
My approach to psychotherapy is relational, creative, and liberatory. I do more than just listen. I offer feedback, attend to the richness of physical experiences, and invite you into small experiments that help you connect to what is alive in the moment.
The world doesn’t stop turning, and we turn along with it. Sometimes dancing gracefully, other times stumbling off balance. When we turn together, we can be anchors for each other. We are still spinning, but it can feel less dizzy.
Therapy is one way to access this kind of relationship. I am here to offer myself as an active anchor. Feeling, sensing, and growing along with you.
